About Me
Innovative, versatile designer and team leader with strong ability to drive creative vision from concept to completion. Extensive international industry experience in a variety of markets and companies, from start-up to $150mill - domestic and import. Welcomes challenge, creates solutions and finds inspiration everywhere!
I grew up in London living the ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ slogan and loving the discovery of new places, people and cultures. Lived and worked in London, Sydney, Boston, New York and Los Angeles gaining experience in multiple markets while increasing my awareness of the many issues affecting our planet and the people, especially women, living on it. Along with a good friend we launched a Women Owned & Operated contemporary womenswear line manufactured with eco/organic and sustainable fabrics. We reduced our carbon footprint using less toxic dyes, hand dye/print techniques and local production. Worked directly with ethically minded factories and dye houses keeping quality high and supporting our skilled LA workforce.
Always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and use of sustainability in our industry I am currently looking for new opportunities where I can do more to reduce our industry's impact on the environment and help effect positive change for our planet in whatever capacity my skill set is most needed.
